Happy Thursday!

Well, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to make some money online before I can move forward with personalizing the blog and making things pretty.  I’m also having trouble figuring out what my niche is.  I really want to start towards being a VA (virtual assistant).  My goal is to make contact with someone that might be able to get me started with my first VA job.  I’m going to do that by no later than Sunday so I vow to you, by Monday, you’ll know the outcome.  So exciting, yet super scary!

I also know another thing I need to do is get a professional resume put together.  I have a friend in mind that may be able to help me with that as well.  Do you notice anything here?  I’m digging deep and finding friends to look to first.  If they can’t help, they should be able to point me in the right direction.

The last thing I want to work on is driving people to my blog.  I have some literature on just how to do that.  Now, all I need to do is put that into action!  I’m finding the biggest road block in this whole ordeal is myself.  I have to learn to take the necessary steps to get to be where I want.  I want to be home with my daughter instead of sitting in an office.

Woo Hoo!  You can now view all the WAHM Articles!!!  This was one of my problems that I stated in my last blog.  The “parent” link was there, but none of the articles were showing.  Please take a look; there’s about 50 articles or so to choose from so there should be something for everyone. Just as I thought, this took one quick phone call and less than a minute to correct.  It’s so nice when you can get help from people who know what they are doing.  And best of all, it was free help!!!

The other problem I wanted to tackle of personalizing my blog is still in the works.  I first need to come up with the money (or still need too), but then it may take a week or two for www.girlyblogdesignz.com to get to me.  The good news is they must be good at what they do for them to have a waiting list.

Well, it’s been one month since my last post and I’ve decided that there is too much time in between.  I’m setting a new goal!  That goal is to post to my blog once a week.  I’ve encountered two problems that I need to sort out as well since I’ve last posted.

Problem 1 – Coming up with the money to get my blog personalized.  I don’t know the technical things, but my web host recommended a site that can help me.  Now I just need to keep saving to make this blog “my own.”

Problem 2 – I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get my articles up for viewing.  This will take a simple phone call; I hope, to fix, but finding the time is difficult.  I think maybe another goal should be to get priorities and time management.

Well, until next time (which should be next week!) I hope that you are solving the problems you are encountering and I’ll continue to work on mine.

Hello and Welcome!

This is a blog about finding our way to becoming a WAHM (work at home mom).  I have been considering this profession for years and just recently have taken the first steps to make this dream a reality! 

The goal of this blog is to help others in my current situation….just starting out.  I would like to do that by providing links to information or products that I find helpful.  I also would like to encourage you to share your fav products and information sites as well.  Together we can make all of our dreams come true!

There are a few articles on the site that I think you will find very useful, I did!  I’m open for ideas of things you would like to see or areas your stuck on in your adventure that we can blaze through together.
